The Academic registration includes conference sessions only. Academic pricing is limited to Students and Professors at a $50 fee. This offer is limited and includes access to: Conference, Workshops and Breaks. This rate does not entitle attendance to events. Academics who wish to receive Academic pricing should be prepared to provide scholarly affiliation details and program of study. *Media registration
Members of the press with valid credentials are welcome to attend sessions and events. Only working journalists with appropriate press credentials will be allowed to register as media. Any reporter, writer or editor with credentials from a newspaper, magazine, radio or TV station, wire service, syndicate or other news organization may register and receive a press badge. Complimentary registration is available for editorial staff of bona fide consumer, industry trade or business media organization. Reporters, editors and free-lance reporters whose bylines appear in a publication; whose names appear on the editorial masthead; who provide editorial content to online organizations or who produce broadcast programs qualify under this policy. Members of the working press who wish to receive complimentary press registration should be prepared to provide at least two (2) of the following:
- Photo identification (i.e. driver’s license or passport) or
- Current membership card from the National Association of Science Writers (NASW) or
- A business card clearly showing media affiliation and position, or
- Official press credential; and
- At least two (2) by-lined stories or
- A copy of the magazine masthead that clearly identifies the reporter as part of the editorial staff or
- A letter on official letterhead from an editor of a publication or a producer of a program certifying that you are covering the conference for their respective organization.
