Houston, Texas – October 7, 2003 — PROS Revenue Management, a world leader in pricing and revenue optimization science and software, and the pioneer and dominant provider of revenue optimization to the travel & transportation industry, invites you to attend a web seminar spotlighting PROS Network Fare Analysis and Sales Strategy System (PROS NAS) which will be hosted on Wednesday, October 15, 2003, at 10:00 am US Central Time. This seminar is for airline CEOs and CFOs.
What are the main concerns facing airline executives today?
-
How can I properly stratify my fare class structure?
-
How can I harmonize my fare class structure with the other alliance members?
-
How can I get both the Sales and RM departments to make decisions off of the same information?
PROS Network Fare Analysis and Sales Strategy System is the world's only network-oriented fare class segmentation system. It evaluates a carrier's existing fare products and network traffic flows, as well as network displacement costs, point-of-sale attributes, business policies, and alliance requirements, to create a fare class structure that maximizes revenue and develops optimal sales targets. In recent years, the airline business has seen the emergence of small and large alliances. PROS NAS is the system to enable airlines to bring their current fare products in line with alliance agreements and filing tariff requirements, while being able to manage the business needs unique to their markets. PROS NAS provides information concerning optimal network flows that can synchronize sales targets with revenue management practices. Furthermore, it offers reporting functionality that aids analysts in reviewing market data and traffic flows. PROS NAS uses O&D level information to generate inputs into a carrier's leg or segment based revenue management system, as well as being an important first step towards O&D control. Based on simulations conducted with airline data, carriers can realize network revenue increases of 1% to 3%.
The Web format for the seminar will allow participants to attend from remote locations, ask questions in real-time, and interact with the presenter through an Internet browser and toll-free telephone number.
