Houston, Texas – March 3, 2003 — All Nippon Airways and PROS Revenue Management announced today the expansion of their partnership as ANA signs a new contract for the deployment of the flagship PROS 5 revenue management system in the domestic Japan market. Over the past 18 months, PROS and ANA have implemented successfully PROS 5, PROS Group, PROS Network Analysis System, and PROS Allotment Handling System at ANA's international division.
As a Star Alliance member, and with passenger boardings and a revenue base that place it among the top ten airlines in the world, ANA is an innovative leader in global transportation. PROS Revenue Management is a world leader in revenue management science and software for the airline industry. Revenue management is the science of maximizing profits through forecasting and scientific optimization of pricing and inventory.

PROS 5 is a state-of-the-art system enabling airlines to statistically forecast demand for their flights. Using historical data that captures flight information, advanced booking activity and actual boarding statistics, the highly advanced optimizing and forecasting engines produce fare class allocations that maximize revenues for every flight. PROS has licensed seventy-five PROS 5 Systems. PROS customer carriers have reported an increase of six to eight percent in revenues due to the implementation of the PROS Revenue Management System.
