Houston, Texas – October 18, 2004 — PROS Revenue Management, a world leader in pricing and revenue optimization science and software, and the pioneer and dominant provider of revenue optimization solutions with over 240 deployed solutions in 10 major industries, optimizing millions of pricing decisions every day for more than 100 customers in 39 countries, invites you to attend a web seminar spotlighting PROS O&D Revenue Management System Functionality, which will be hosted on Thursday, October 28, 2004, from 9:00 to 10:00 am US Central Time.
PROS Revenue Management will present a webcast on the functionality of its airline origin-destination (O&D) revenue management system solution. Presenters will include Brian Wishlinski, Director of Airline Solutions; Donna MacKenzie, Project Director and Clay Cutshall, Product Manager.
O&D tools represent the latest advance in revenue management science and technology for airlines. Those airlines that have implemented these tools have demonstrated between 1% and 2% revenue growth over traditional leg-segment tools and between 6% and 8% revenue growth over no revenue management tool. PROS Revenue Management has implemented seven such systems at airlines in North America, Europe and Asia.
PROS O&D 2.0 represents the newest generation of the company’s revenue management tool. This tool capitalizes on advances in Bayesian hierarchical forecasting and dynamic programming network optimization techniques to product optimal seat inventory allocations. During this webcast, the participants will discuss the tool’s various components, including data loaders, demand forecasting, network optimization, fare valuation, real-time dynamic pricing and recommendation uploads. In addition, the group will also discuss PROS’ proven Blueprint for Success, which is used to implement these tools for our airline customers.
This webcast will be followed on Wednesday 10 November 2004 at 9:00 am US Central time, with another web seminar that will focus on business process best practices for airline operating revenue management systems.
This Web seminar will allow industry leaders to learn from the experience PROS has gained in over 19 years of deploying these solutions. The Web format for the seminar will allow participants to attend from remote locations, ask questions in real-time, and interact with the presenter through an Internet browser and toll-free telephone number. This seminar is free of charge but space is limited. For more information and registration, please check PROS’ Web site at the following link: www.prosRM.com.
