Bert Winemiller assumed the role of Chairman and CEO on the strength of his successful track record of managing fast-growing technology companies. Bert has a strong statistical and mathematical background and developed macroeconomic models with Otto Eckstein at Data Resources. He has a clear vision of how PROS can expand the use of Pricing and Revenue Optimization Science to a broad range of applications in multiple industries.

Bert received a B.S. and an M.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Missouri and an M.B.A. in Finance from the Harvard Business School. He started his career at IBM as a systems engineer and software developer working primarily on large-scale technology conversions.

Bert has held key positions at several information technology firms, working across disciplines in new product development, delivery strategies, strategic planning, product management and on-site integrated software systems. He has served as President of American Business Information Inc. and as Senior Vice President for Automatic Data Processing Inc. He is President of the Strategic Advisory Board of the University of Missouri and is an active private investor.  As Chairman and CEO of PROS, Bert contributes the experience of his years of software and information industry leadership to helping customers achieve Pricing Excellence. Bert is passionate about establishing parallel visions, common goals and shared success with strategic partners.
