Charlie Murphy joined PROS in 1998 as Senior Vice President
and CFO and assumed the role of Executive Vice President and
CFO in 2001. Charlie’s responsibilities include Technical
Services and Finance & Administration. Charlie is an experienced
executive who combines his in-depth knowledge and experience
with a strong commitment to achieve company objectives. Charlie
has a strong background in finance and operations in the technology,
manufacturing and consumer products arena. He started his career
at Coopers & Lybrand in Boston. He joined Coleco
Industries as Director of Finance and was promoted to Vice
President & Treasurer. Coleco Industries, a consumer products
company, grew from $100 million to $750 million in revenue
during which time a number of public offerings and financings
were completed. Since then, he has dealt with both public and
private companies serving as CFO and worked on and with Boards
of Directors. Previous technology companies were Expert
Software, Inc. and Mergent International, Inc.
Charlie received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Bentley
College in Boston and was a CPA in Massachusetts with the firm
of Coopers & Lybrand.
