PROS implements and supports our products through three principal services groups: Pricing Professional Services, Implementation Professional Services and Customer Support. 

 

Pricing Professional Services
Our pricing professional services personnel are responsible for planning the implementations of our software products. Elements of this process include:

  • Profile the implementation based on the products to be deployed and the implementation scope
  • Support organizational activities to assist our customers' transition from awareness of their pricing challenges to adoption of pricing excellence best practices
  • Analyze a customer’s current pricing process and map to PROS proven industry specific High Value Business Cases.
  • Work with the customer to identify the data required to support the High Value Business Cases
  • Speed time to value by starting with industry based pricing best practices already embedded in our products
  • Provide training and workshop materials to help users learn to apply pricing excellence best practices so they can realize maximum value from the software
  • Use a “train the trainer” approach to enable customers to fully “own” our products and new pricing excellence processes

Implementation Professional Services
Our Implementation Professional Services personnel are responsible for the configuration and the technical deployment of our software products. Elements involved in the configuration and deployment process include:

  • Collaborate with the customer to determine the best hardware and system software platform
  • Configure PROS Analytics to the customer’s specific business with focus on determining the pocket price and the pocket margins for products, customers, sales territories, channels, and countries
  • Configure the PROS Execution software products to provide real time transaction level optimized prices by customer and product.
  • Gain user feedback early and often throughout the implementation to ensure the solution is appropriately configured
  • Train the customers IT department on the standard data interfaces required by the PROS software products
  • Deploy the configuration specifications
  • Assist the customer in loading and validating pricing data
  • Assist the customer in testing the deployed software product with customer data
  • Train the customer’s IT department for software installation, systems administration and systems operation

Customer Support
PROS Customer Support provides a variety of resources providing information about your product including troubleshooting steps, solutions to common issues, how-tos, and software updates. PROS Customer Support will assist you by:

  • Providing end-users with assistance related to the use of PROS software
  • Providing IT professionals assistance with incidents related to installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of PROS software 
  • Providing workarounds or alternate approaches to address business issues where available
  • Providing information related to other available PROS products and professional services
  • Providing software downloads that address bug-fixes and applicable enhancements if and when updates are available
  • Providing product documentation downloads when available
  • Providing a self-service facility for customers to submit support requests and track the lifecycle of those requests.
