Pricing and Advanced Pricing Certification
PROS is offering two levels of pricing certification – Level
1(Pricing Certification) and Level 2 (Advanced Pricing
Certification)
- Level 1 certification provides a broad
understanding of basic pricing principals, including
the power of pricing, common pricing strategies, and
common pricing tools. Level 1 certification can
be attended by anyone.
- Level 2 certification covers how specific
pricing techniques are applied in practice, including
the data requirements, segmentation approaches, analytics,
execution, optimization and keys to successful pricing
initiatives. Level
2 certification can be attended by anyone who already
feels comfortable with the Level 1 content (basic pricing
principals, common pricing strategies and tools).
Preparation for both
levels will consist of some light pre-reading. The
certification classes are expected to be 3 hours long
followed by a 1 hour certification test. The two
certification classes will run concurrently on Sunday
afternoon.
